With a cosy roaring fire in the corner, massive tables and secluded booths – allowing for big groups and closer catch-ups – the glossy gastro pub is the ideal spot for a night out.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming – making sure that everyone who walked through the door felt at ease, and that they were all having a good time.
There’s a wide assortment of drinks available – from the impressive lineup of brews to the must-see whiskey and spirit display.
East Side Tavern showcases over 250 different whiskeys and spirits from throughout the globe – as well as top-notch craft beers and cocktails – in a stunning back-lit pyramid design.
The cocktail menu features a few classics – like the whiskey sour and the sidecar – while putting their own spin on others, like the champagne mojito or medicinal manhattan.
The beef was tender and juicy in the guinness sauce – which was only accented by the generous helping of extra creamy and fluffy mashed.
While I admittedly have a bit of a sweet tooth, the rich, chocolatey treat was a real delight.
It was my first visit to East Side Tavern for 2015 – but here’s to plenty more trips in 2016.
