If you’re on the lookout for a spot where great memories are made, look no further than ely wine bar.
The intimate setting provides the perfect atmosphere for just about any kind of night out – whether you’re looking to grab a bite to eat with pals or are looking for a romantic spot to dine out with your partner.
The staff are more than welcoming from the moment you step through the door to the very last second you step back out.
Incredibly knowledgable, they go our of their way to make you feel at ease – including a willingness to suggest wine and food pairings to make the experience more enjoyable, whether it’s for a full meal or some light bar bites to last through the night.
The mouth-watering menu provides a slight problem – with every dish sounding more appetising than the last, it can be tricky to just pick one.
To start off, I got the Irish king scallops, served with artichoke and pomegranate. The scallops were tender and flavoursome, and the ideal way to kick off the experience.
The tasty fillet was cooked to perfection, with the horseradish and chive butter making a great accent to the dish.
To top off the experience, I had the mouth-wateringly rich chocolate and orange slice, served with a side of orange sorbet.
My overall time at ely wine bar was an unforgettable experience; one I’ll definitely be back to try again.
