I have been living in Ireland for over 12 years now. For as long as I am here I was keen on exploring the areas where I live and beyond. Having gone to college in Dublin for 6 years and having worked for some great organisations after graduating, I have got a chance to really get to know the city and to explore the rest of the country as well.
I enjoy reading about places in Ireland and sights to visit, every week I make a note of places I heard of but did not manage to see yet and then I would make it my mission to go and explore. Little over a year ago I started blogging about places I go to see. My blog has now several regular readers and the list is growing. So far about 2,000 people read my blog posts and I hope the numbers keep growing as I am really aiming at people who are interested in visiting Ireland and also at people who live in Ireland and just did not manage to see much of it. I have done typical touristy spots as well as going to very remote parts of the country like Donegal and Parts of West Cork where nature is just breath-taking. I believe Ireland has a lot to offer for people who are after a different experience than just a pint of Guinness in Temple Bar and a Traditional Irish Dancing Show (those are great experience too and naturally that is where I would start too if I was a tourist coming here).I think what makes me different from other bloggers is that I live here and I am not just visiting, also that I don’t write about one particular subject. My interest is really just Ireland and everything about it. I go, I see and I capture. I also connect with locals and like reading up on history of many places I visit. I think that really makes me a little bit of an expert on Ireland.
